Founded in 1981, the mission of the christian school of kingwood is to provide a christ-centered environment that is committed to academic and spiritual excellence. our primary emphasis is on the classroom: a "supernatural" teacher, a challenging curriculum, and a carefully designed sequence of courses. our small classes both motivate and support student learning. exploration, discovery and mastery of material are as important in preschool and kindergarten as they are in middle school. we encourage our students to be curious and desire to learn more outside the classroom as well as inside. our young people are taught to lead in various circumstances, such as chapel, musicals, and work in the community. the older students provide the best of examples in responsibility, respect, and caring for the younger children as they mentor them. christian school of kingwood is accredited by the southern association of colleges and schools (sacs/casi) and the national christian schools association (ncsa). csk is recognized by the texas education association (tea). our mothers' day out program is licensed by the texas department of protective regulatory services.
