A 90-year old company with the spirit of a startup when you hear the name continental mills, it might not sound familiar at first. but what if we asked if you'd ever tried krusteaz pancake mix? yes? now you know part of the story! we are a family-owned business that was founded in 1932 by an innovative woman named rose charters who decided to tackle the challenge of making the perfect, easy-to-prepare pie crust. she called her product krusteaz pie crust (cleverly combining "crust" and "ease"). rose and her husband james started selling the mix to friends, neighbors and local cafes. they quickly outgrew their home kitchen and soon opened the first manufacturing plant in seattle. quality products, quality people we have a passion for quality, making amazing krusteaz baking and pancake mixes, wildroots snacks, alpine cider drink mixes and more! you and your family will love the variety of products and flavors that can be found through retail grocery stores, food service products sold through restaurants, hospitals and schools, and club store channels throughout the united states. our culture we always put people first. we truly value our employees, our customers, and our community. we're fiercely proud of who we are and what we do. we embrace diversity, equity and inclusion and the unique experiences that each person adds to our positive culture. we do the right thing and treat everyone with dignity and respect, without compromise. we hope you'll take the time to get to know us!
