The central virginia international model united nations (cvimun) is a three-day simulation for middle and high school students. cvimun invites delegates worldwide to engage in debate and diplomacy, addressing pressing current events and global challenges. by assuming the roles of un representatives, policymakers, and influential figures, delegates immerse themselves in the intricacies of global politics, problem-solving, and negotiation. cvimun aspires to deliver a memorable and intellectually stimulating experience, fostering a deeper understanding of international affairs, diplomacy, and collaboration to build tomorrow's leaders. this is cvimun's inaugural year, with an estimated turnout of 1500+ delegates joining us jan 12th-14th, 2024 for a weekend filled with debate and discourse about the world's pressing issues.
