Over 30 years ago goodwill of the finger lakes partnered with 3m to stand up a manufacturing department in which blind or visually impaired members of our agency would produce a variety of self-stick note pads. since then we've established additional partnerships with companies such as ecolab, dymo, meterpak, zing and most recently mobile pixels to add even more opportunities for individuals with barriers to employment to produce, sew or package items for sale to the federal government through the abilityone program and state agencies through nys preferred source. we've made many of these items available to members of our community and local businesses within the finger lakes region through our ecommerce site, gflsolutions.org. every purchase through our site supports our agency mission of creating opportunities for individuals with barriers to employment.
