Welcome to magnolia soap and bath co! i'm magen, the owner, and my passion for plant-based soap products began when i started looking for alternatives for my daughter's sensitive skin. what i discovered (much to my surprise!) is that most soaps are closer to detergents than traditional soap. this is because the mass production process removes the natural glycerin (animal or vegetable fat) from the soap, which gives it moisturizing properties and replaces it with synthetic agents to make up the difference. and believe me - your skin knows the difference. while these detergent bars are more economical for companies and consumers, these soaps are harder on the skin. in addition, because of the ingredients (or lack thereof), they frequently cause dryness and skin irritation (bumps, redness, or acne). i also found the same to be true for most other personal care products. at this point, i decided to make it my mission to educate others about plant-based beauty and provide them with natural alternatives. at magnolia soap, we believe you do not have to sacrifice your health for beauty. we use only domestically sourced, naturally grown ingredients that have actually felt and seen the sun. plant-based ingredients in every recipe! today we have over 45+ stores. we're proud to offer franchise opportunities, and each store is local, family-owned, and operated. we are a family-owned, woman owned (hey, boss babes!) business with a proven concept in every aspect of the business. as a franchise owner, you will become part of our family. we want you to succeed in your business and we always be here to assist in any area of your business. once you are approved as an owner, we will provide the tools needed for your success. these tools include training, store and production setup, online portal system, material ordering platforms, and much more. my team and i can't wait to help you lose the chemicals and discover plant-based beauty!
